The Songs and Smiles programme is still running at St Anne’s much to the Residents delight. The hot weather permitted the group to move into the garden last week.
Every year here at Manchester, we are blessed to have a visit from 16/17 year old young Spanish students from a college in Malaga.
All week our residents have been really forward to meeting this group. This morning they joined us for morning mass and afterwards in the coffee/tea bar, where they helped serve the drinks…

Our visit to Elizabeth Gaskell House. Our residents enjoyed an afternoon visit to the historic house and museum that celebrates the life and literature of Elizabeth Gaskell who was born in 1810 in Plymouth Grove, Manchester. Elizabeth was one of the UK's most important Victorian writers.
