For the third consecutive year Sr. Veronica has organized a charity Golf Classic in Waterford Golf Club in aid of the Home. There were 38 teams which meant 114 Golfers took part in the 18 hole event. A bag was prepared for each golfer with refreshments for the day. Each round lasted over 4 hours, the first team teed off at 9.00 a.m. and the last one at 5.00 p.m. it was a tremendous success. Part of this included a Grande Raffle which raised approximately €2000.00. Weather was fantastic and the golfers were to be admired to venture out under the blazing sun. A lot of effort went into the preparation , looking for teams, sponsors and prizes. At the end of the day we thanked St. Joseph for such a successful day!
