Residents at St Peter's Home in London, and Manchester, celebrated Pancake Day by having a party. They enjoyed a glass of sherry followed by tea and homemade pancakes. There was also a pancake tossing competition and everyone had the opportunity to have a go. The Little Sisters, Staff and Associates all joined in the fun.

On 11th February, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, a special Rosary was recited in the Chapel followed by the Blessing of the Sick. After Benediction the Carers made their way to the foot of the Sanctuary where Fr Dan Harrison blessed their hands, reciting the following prayer:

A group Residents and Little Sisters from St Peter's were invited at Christmas to sing carols at their local Tesco Store in Vauxhall, London. They received a warm welcome from both staff and customers who were very happy to join them in spreading some seasonal cheer.

It was "all hands on deck" for the Little Sisters, Associates and Volunteers, on Saturday 22nd. October as each Home held their Great Mission Tea. Cakes galore, baked by willing hands, entertainment, tombola and many other side shows served to raise funds for the mission Homes in Africa

An 'Appreciation Day' was held at the Home in Preston when some of the staff members received an award for their valued service of 25, 20 and 10 years at Jeanne Jugan Residence. The Little Sisters took part in the annual Battle of Flowers in Jersey, with a float depicting the "Year of Mercy". Since the beginning of the year there has been great excitement in the Home as Residents came together to make the paper flowers and decorate the float, which attracted a great deal of attention and admiration.
