The Little Sisters were joined by associates, residents and volunteers from all the Homes in the Province on a pilgrimage to the English National Shrine of Our Lady in Walsingham. It was fitting that the pilgrimage was held on the Feast of the English Martyrs! Following Mass in the beautiful Chapel of Reconciliation, the pilgrims enjoyed a picnic lunch before processing along the Holy Mile, praying the rosary and singing hymns to Our Lady, confiding to her the intentions of the Little Sisters, residents and associates who were unable to be there themselves. On arrival in the village, the pilgrims went to the Church of the Annunciation for the final prayers and blessing before departing. The pilgrims arrived back at the various homes, tired but very happy to have shared such a beautiful prayerful day together.
