The nephews of one of the Little Sisters, were happy to bring us some chocolates for Easter, and different goods from John Lewis Store, which was closing due to the Coronavirus. Celebration of St Patrick’s Day at Little Sisters of The Poor’s St Joseph’s Home Manchester. The event was celebrated with a quiz, karaoke with 32 Irish songs, refreshments of Irish snacks with Bailey’s Irish cream, and homemade cakes. Residents, staff, volunteers and sisters all enjoyed the atmosphere of gaity. Smiles and laughter were plentiful.
Meeting the Residents at St Anne’s Home where Mother Maria gave a lot of happiness to everyone.

Cardinal Vincent Nichols visited St Peter’s to meet Mother General Maria del Monte Auxiliadora and Mother Joseph Christine, Assistant General
Our Mother general Maria del Monte was greeted at St Peter’s by Residents, Associates, Staff and Volunteers. They gave her a great show with a variety of entertainment. Everybody was pleased to welcome Mother Maria and show her their talents. She was very impressed and appreciative of everything.
