We would like to say a huge Thankyou to Joanne who worked at St Joseph’s home in Newcastle. Joanne set up a gofundme page on Facebook to raise funds to help us with the extra cost of having to purchase PPE equipment, hand sanitiser and vital equipment required to help protect everyone during Covid-19. The fundraising is to support the Little Sisters as we have been unable to go out into the community for our usual collections.
We very much appreciate Joanne’s efforts, and are eternally grateful for all donations we receive; it really makes a difference.
We have had three generations of Joanne’s family working at St Josephs Newcastle – Grandmother, Mother (Doreen) – and Joanne herself.
