The 18th December was a day of joy and thanksgiving for the two Little Sisters – Sr. Cecile, who celebrated her 75th anniversary of Religious Profession, and 24 years of presence in Jersey, and Sr. Pascaline, who celebrated 70 years of Religious Profession, having spent 44 of those years on the Island! Canon Nicholas France was the main celebrant at the Mass of Thanksgiving during which the Little Sisters renewed their Vows in a Chapel filled to capacity with friends, many of whom the Sisters had known as children. Afterwards a meal was provided in the main hall during which time happy memories were recalled and shared.
