As part of our autumn activities we collected apples from our orchard and pressed some to make our own apple juice, which we shared with residents and staff.

Wednesday, 8th September, Our Lady’s birthday was a beautiful day. We took the opportunity and decided to plan a meal in the garden knowing how much pleasure the last one gave to the residents. We planned an Italian meal and decorated our wonderful gardens with Italian flags and balloons which added to the atmosphere.

Our Residents at Bristol have been enjoying various activities this week, including stone painting and table tennis, this was enjoyed by all.
We had a barbeque at St Peter's this week. The Barbeque was prepared in the garden with Vinny & Rick the maintenance team and kitchen staff facilitated all the preparation.

Our residents at Newcastle enjoyed being entertained by an old friends of St Joseph’s. Singer Sally Glennon and her father are firm favourites with the residents and always provide first class entertainment.
On the Feast of Jeanne Jugan the New Wing at Manchester was blessed by Bishop John Arnold.
