The Residents of St Joseph's, Bristol, along with their families and friends, enjoyed an afternoon with a difference when they welcomed fourteen special birds in their garden.

The Little Sisters from several houses in the Province participated at the Eucharistic Congress in Liverpool. A 'Vocation Exhibition was prepared at St Patrick's Church Liverpool. Many Priests, Brothers and religious were present  and happy to share their experiences with each other and the people who visited the various stalls.  

The Homes throughout the world celebrated the Feast of St Jeanne Jugan in various ways.  Leeds added a special touch by producing figurines made from clay, portraying St Jeanne surrounded by Residents.

Over the past few months the Residents in MANCHESTER have been busy in the construction industry.   With the help of the activities coordinator and volunteers they have been building a house, not with bricks, but with one thousand buttons !  Everyone put so much effort into it and enjoyed every minute.

The children of St Urban's school, Headingley, were delighted to present a cheque in outstanding sum of £1,505 to the Little Sisters in Leeds.   This was the result of their 'Fun Run' and other events that they had organised for the Home.   Thank you children of St Urban's - God bless you!

The community and residents from Manchester were happy to welcome twenty young people from various countries: Poland, Mexico, Spain, South America, and England. The girls were participating in a language Camp for three weeks.   During their visit to the Home they entertained the residents with songs, accompanied with guitar, and shared their experiences.
