St. Peter’s Spring Fayre

We had quite an event recently at St. Peter’s Spring Fayre.
We have known Philip Treacy, who is an Irish Milliner, probably the best in the world for designing hats. So, one day, when visiting him, he told us that he would love to help us so much more, so he decided to create a hat that was worth £1350, to be able to put it in our raffle at the Spring Fayre.
A few days before the Fayre, we asked him if he would be able to join us for the Fayre, and straight away, he told us that he would come for the Draw of the Raffle. Not only did he stay for the raffle but he stayed all afternoon, chatting to the Sisters, the Residents, and he remarked that they all looked so happy! Then he went on a tour of the stalls and introduced himself.
The the weather was beautiful; everyone was out in our garden with a really warm sunshine, and it was so lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves. We thank Philip Treacy for the hat he made for us, as well as his presence at our Home, he really enjoyed it all.
