Rosary at the Grotto Waterford

To honour Our Lady in the month of May residents, sisters, staff, associates and two or three families of the residents assembled at the Grotto to pray the Rosary.   To the delight of the residents the baby who was in our live crib at Christmas delighted everyone.  He had come to visit his great grandmother and was very quiet during the Rosary. We commenced with a hymn to Our Lady accompanied by the keyboard.  The residents sang with great gusto and joined in the Glorious Mysteries, each mystery having a special intention and we concluded with Bring Flowers of the rarest, the favourite hymn of most residents.   An ice cream and cold drinks were most welcome because of the glorious sunshine.   The residents were in no hurry to return indoors as they felt Summer had arrived.
