Pilgrimage to Walsingham

On the 5th September representatives from all the Homes in the Province travelled to Walsingham, England’s national shrine to Our Lady.   On arrival we had the opportunity to visit the Slipper Chapel, where we remembered the intentions of all those who were unable to be with us. We were united in prayer throughout the day but more especially during Mass which was celebrated by several Priests, including some of our Residents Priests.  During a picnic lunch in the grounds everyone enjoyed the social gathering before walking the Holy Mile, praying the Rosary and singing hymns to Our Lady.   On arrival at the Church of the Annunciation in the Village we were pleased to come before the Blessed Sacrament and the day finished with Benediction.
