On the 11th November, we received a call from Waitrose, Pimlico, to say that there was a cheque waiting for us. It was given by the Green button system for charities. From this particular store, we receive regular donations for which we are very grateful.
Usually, there are three charities picked for the month and they are divided by £1000, but during the pandemic, it is divided by £500, so we received a cheque for £166. Albin, the young man who works at Waitrose was very pleased to help us by giving us the cheque. In this time of pandemic, when everyone is feeling the pinch, we are just so grateful to our good benefactors.
