Embrace Liverpool was a one day Catholic youth conference aimed at young people aged 14- 25 years. 3000 youth were present, it was a vibrant and exciting day of talks, conferences mainly with the theme “Relationship with Christ”, workshops, praise and worship. The music was organised with great talent, by the CJM Music team, there were times of private prayer, Adoration, opportunities for reconciliation with the day culminating with the celebration of Mass celebrated by Archbishop Malcolm McMahon, other bishops and priests from the diocese and beyond. The Mass was celebrated on the Feast of Christ the King, the liturgy was prepared well and everyone felt the presence of Christ among us.
A range of communities, charities and religious orders were present, the Little Sisters of the Poor from Manchester were happy to participate in the event, Chenade a friend of the Sisters helped to prepare the stall with Books, leaflets, web cards and information concerning vocation discernment and volunteering.
